Ingredients:

For the Kabobs:

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb (or a mix of both)
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Garlicky Sauce:

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or mayo
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Kabob Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, and all the spices. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2️⃣ Shape the Kabobs: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into long, oval patties or skewer them onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.

3️⃣ Grill to Perfection: Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface and cook the kabobs for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

4️⃣ Make the Garlicky Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Adjust seasoning to taste.
