These Nutty Protein Bars are the perfect high-protein, nutrient-dense snack to fuel your day. Packed with oats, nuts, peanut butter, and optional protein powder, these bars are easy to make and provide a delicious, energy-boosting treat for workouts or midday hunger.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, honey, chopped nuts, and protein powder (if using).
- Press the mixture into a lined 8×8-inch baking dish, ensuring it’s evenly distributed and packed down.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and press them gently into the mixture.
- Refrigerate the bars for at least 1 hour to set.
- Once firm, remove from the dish and cut into 8 bars. Serve or store in an airtight container.
Note:
- For more variety, add dried fruits like cranberries or raisins, or drizzle melted chocolate over the top before refrigerating.
